E-cigs have now accounted for 39 deaths and thousands of severe lung injuries. And while Trump initially said he would support a ban on e-cig flavors, he has since retreated claiming a concern with jobs.
Trump announced a proposal to ban flavored e-cigarette products after dozens of people were diagnosed with severe vaping-related lung injuries. While the proposed ban had been garnering support, sources told the Times that Trump chose to retreat from it on the recommendation of his advisers and vaping industry lobbyists. (
