Paul Jurgens, KFGO News Director of over 35 years, says he had a little health scare.
Jurgens says his doctors found a cancerous kidney tumor on October 16, 2018.
8 days later, he had surgery to remove the tumor (and kidney) and today, on November 16th, he says recovery is going well and the prognosis, even better.
The cancer appears to have been completely removed and Jurgens hopes to be back on the airwaves before December! He credits his wife Nancy for being by his side “24 hours a day”.
We have missed him here, on and off the air, and are looking forward to his return.
