These last few weeks of June have been rather cool in the Fargo/Moorhead area… but remember those 90 degree days we started with? Well, because of those few days, our average temperature for June is actually just a TINY bit above average.
Meterologist Tom Szymanski says we are .3 degrees above average for the month of June.
At this point, Fargo has had 4 days above 90 degrees. And while that doesn’t seem like a lot, we only average 12 per year. (So, we could be halfway done!)
In this podcast, Tom also talks about the long term forecast: the 4th of July and the expectation that late afternoon/evening scattered storms will continue, a sure sign of summer!
