Tuesday, January 29th and Wednesday, January 30th are being dubbed “polar vortex” days.
Schools are closing, businesses are shutting their doors early, no travel advisories are being released and officials are warning only a few minutes in the elements can be very serious. (even life-threatening!)
However, our Meteorologist explains why this isn’t
really
a “polar vortex”.
And, while we might have a record-breaking day… this event doesn’t look to be record-breaking.

And, there is an end in sight… by Saturday, we could be in the 20’s!
