Joshua Morton is a former Navy Seal who is training cloned dogs to take down active shooters, most specifically, for schools.
Morton was deployed with a military K-9 unit and believes his unique experience lends itself well to thinking outside the box. He calls his Active Shooter K9 program “the only serious solution for a serious threat”.
He is selling the trained dogs, and a handler, as security for schools looking for alternative safety measures.
And while many school administrators have inquired about the K-9’s, only a few have looked into a Pilot program. Morton believes once they are able to get a Pilot program in place, many will follow. The dogs, and the handler, come with a hefty price tag: $125,000.
