“Fargo Fridays” during It Takes 2 is a segment where Amy & JJ call-up another Fargo and introduce themselves – and the community of Fargo, North Dakota!
In this podcast: Lisa Johnson, the Fargo, GA City Clerk, gives us an insight into what life is like in Fargo, GA… they are a town of less than 400 people where timber is the main industry. “We’re very small and we are in the middle of nowhere.”
With 2 hotels and a bait and tackle shop, Johnson says they are a gateway community to the Okefenokee swamp.
The Bait & Tackle is also an outfitters and usually hosts a Friday night steak dinner and live music.
Also, Johnson says when she is out of the state and mentions she is from Fargo… everyone always assumes it’s Fargo, North Dakota!
