“Clyde the Guide” is the Minnesota Twins Curator and Tour Director. He says he has “the greatest job in the world”.
As an attendee of the first MN Twins game on April 21, 1961, he has been following the ball club ever since.
He is a guide and speaker for Twins fan in and outside the ball park, the curator of 40 different displays at the field and a walking historian of Minnesota Twins baseball.
The most unique item he’s achieved: Hail.
IN THIS PODCAST: Clyde Doepner, MN Twins Curator & Tours director, joins Amy & JJ to talk about the job.
When asked what his Dad would say about his life now, “the kid got what he wanted”. And, as a Minnesota Twins fan, we got the guy we wanted!
This is a story you don’t want to miss! Listen above.
