West Fargo Fire-Rescue has launched a medical response team – on bikes!
In this podcast: West Fargo Fire Chief Dan Fuller joins Amy & JJ to talk about the program.
Fuller says teams of 2 will be working events like Cruise Nights, Street Fairs, outdoor concerts, etc. They’ll be on mountain bikes and carry medical bags and other supplies.
The first responders will complete training through the International Mountain Bike Association. Donations for the program came from Scheel’s, Bell Bank and Toppers Car Club.
