WAHPETON, ND (KFGO) – A Cooperstown man has been charged in a series of recent thefts in Richland County.
31-year-old Andrew Miklas faces several charges following a number of thefts and burglaries and the theft of a van from a Wahpeton plumbing and heating business. Police say they discovered several stolen credit cards when they stopped the stolen van that Miklas was driving.
In a separate case, a Moorhead man has been charged with breaking into a vacant house near Lidgerwood. Deputies say they found copper wire and tubing in the trunk of a car driven by 29-year-old Dillon Huber.
Businesses, homes and a number of farm shop burglaries have been reported in Richland County over the past couple of months.
