FARGO, ND (KFGO) – Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a deadly assault in a Fargo apartment building Wednesday morning.
43-year old Darrell Clinton Peterson is being held in the Cass County Jail on a Double AA Felony Murder charge.
Police say it was a tip that led officers to another apartment where Peterson was taken into custody. After reviewing the evidence and the statements Peterson made during questioning, he was arrested.
Police found the assault victim, 64-year old Duane Darling of Fargo, bleeding at the Pioneer Manor apartments at 201 11th Street North, Darling was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he later died.
