DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KFGO) – The Minn. Dept. of Natural Resources has issued two citations in connection with a YouTube stunt that involved jumping a personal watercraft over a gravel road.
Conservation Officer Jacob Swedberg says Jake Sherbrooke was cited for careless operation of a personal watercraft and for not wearing a life jacket.
The stunt was attempted last month near Minnesota Highway 32, south of Rollag. The participants set up a ramp to catapult the jet ski over the road. Sherbrooke was not injured.
The event was captured on a YouTube video produced by CboysTV. The video has more than 400,000 views.
