CROOKSTON, MN (KFGO) – A man who died after a weekend assault in Fosston, Minnesota has been identified as 19-year-old Timothy Hauge of Fosston.
His brother, 29-year-old Nicholas Hauge of Fergus Falls, has been arrested in the case.
Polk County deputies found Timothy Hauge unconscious and not breathing when responding to a 911 call early Sunday morning in a residential neighborhood. The caller said there was an attempted burglary underway. Nicholas Hauge was nearby, standing in an intersection.
Timothy Hauge died of head injuries. The sheriff’s office says Nicholas Hauge will be charged with second-degree murder.
