FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Fargo Musicians are getting together for a benefit concert to support Fargo Public School kids who have wracked up school lunch debt.
In 2019 alone students have accrued more than $26,000 in school lunch debt.
Professional musician and NDSU professor, Jason Boynton says when he heard the news he was shocked.
This special GIVING event will involve a 30-day online donation campaign seeking help from both local businesses and the public.
“LUNCH AID: Fargo Bands for School Kids” will be Sept. 15th at the Sanctuary Events Center.
Fargo City Commissioner John Strand will be the Emcee for the event.
