2026 Butterfly Ball

The Fargo Park District invites families and role models to step into a world of enchantment at the 2026 Butterfly Ball. This magical evening returns Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Avalon Event Center. Tickets are $34 per person and are available now at FargoParks.com.


The Butterfly Ball is a celebration of connection in all its forms. Whether it’s a mother and son, father and daughter, aunt and niece or nephew, grandparent and grandchild, mentor and mentee, or any extraordinary adult in a child’s life, this event is designed to create a welcoming space where every child feels loved and celebrated. Suggested ages are 4–12, and all youth must be accompanied by an adult.


Guests will enjoy kid-friendly hors d’oeuvres including chicken strips, mac-and-cheese, dessert, and punch, along with music, dancing, and a special take-home craft to remember the evening. Professional portraits by Scherling Photography will be available for purchase. Guests are encouraged to pre-register for photo packages through the event webpage to spend more time dancing and less time waiting in line.
