FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (KFGO) โ The FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs have joined the investigation into the search for a Fort Totten man who is potentially armed and considered dangerous.
The Spirit Lake Tribe issued a statement asking that all tribal offices, schools and businesses on the northeastern North Dakota reservation go into lockdown to keep the community safe. Fort Totten Police have not said why Kolby McKay is wanted. The FBI will only say that it is jointly working with the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
A reservation-wide curfew is in place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for minors. The Tribal Council has warned parents and guardians that they could be jailed and fined for a curfew violation.
