DULUTH, Minn. – Charges against a Duluth teacher arrested earlier this month on accusations he sexually assaulted a student have been dropped.
The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office dropped the charges against John Horgeshimer after a review of new evidence.
Horgeshimer was arrested after a student at the Raleigh Academy accused him of touching her inappropriately.
Prosecutors did not say what new evidence was found, but Horgeshimer’s attorney said the student made a false accusation against his client.
