MILLE LACS COUNTY, MINN, – Firefighters battled an estimated 100-acre wildfire fire north of Milaca, in east central Minnesota Tuesday afternoon.
Multiple aircraft were on the scene, supporting the ground firefighting resources. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Milaca Fire Department, and Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office responded.
Windy, dry conditions contributed to the size of the fire.
