During its annual meeting on March 12, the Specialty Soya and Grains Alliance held board elections to fill two open seats. Gail Donkers of the Minnesota Soybean Research & Promotion Council was reelected, while Bryan Severs of the Illinois Soybean Association joined the board.
Bob Sinner, with SB&B Foods, was reelected as SSGA chair, Bryan Stobaugh of the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council was tabbed as vice chair, while Severs was selected to serve as secretary/treasurer.
“Being able to work with the quality of people we have in the membership and on the board has been an honor,” said Sinner. “I am honored and humbled to serve as the SSGA chair for another year and look forward to what we can accomplish in 2024.”

SSGA’s annual meeting was held in conjunction with the Transportation Go! conference March 13-14, the premier conference for soybean and grain transportation and trade issues in the Midwest. Hosted by SSGA, the event brings in the industry’s top stakeholders, from boots-on-the-ground commodity growers and organizations to traders and shippers of specialty crops.
