GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A 17-year-old Grand Forks boy is in police custody in connection with a deadly stabbing early Thurs. morning in Grand Forks.
Officers responded to an apartment building at about 3 where they found a person on the ground with a stab wound to the upper part of his body. Police say it appears that two groups of people were involved in a fight when the victim was stabbed.
The victim is identified as 24-year-old Anfernee Economy of Grand Forks. Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed the stabbing or has other information to contact them.
The stabbing took place in the 1700 block of 36th Ave. S.
