DULUTH, Minn. – Officers say an 88-year-old man is jailed after a hit-and-run crash that critically injured a pedestrian Thursday evening in Duluth.
According to the police department, 24-year-old Raymond Skoglund was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. A Go Fund Me page says Skoglund is a Duluth firefighter and a member of the 148th Fighter Wing.
Authorities located a suspect vehicle shortly after Skoglund was struck. They say the driver is in custody pending multiple criminal vehicular operation charges.
