It didn’t take long after the Iowa Caucus for Donald Trump to go on the attack. His biggest threat for the Republican nomination is former South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley. So, in the Trump world, it’s now time to punch. And not over policy, but over her as a fellow human.
All Trump had to do was go to his old playbook. First, he found a name (or a few) to call her, including “bird brain” and “Nimarata.” Next, he had to bash her ethnicity. Trump (falsely) stated that Haley was ineligible to serve as President because her parents were not U.S. citizens at the time of her birth. And last, Trump went for her looks. He degrades her looks every chance he gets. He super-imposed her face on another body just to get the hatred and reaction he wanted.
All of that coming from a man that cakes his face in orange every morning, and uses two cans of Aqua Net to comb over his bald head. See, I can do it too! And I haven’t even mentioned his fat ass. That’s because I’m sensitive to that name-calling myself.
The problem Haley has is that she brought a pocketknife to a gun fight. She isn’t willing to point out that Trump lost a case where the Judge called him a rapist. She isn’t willing to point out that he fights dirty. His tactic works primarily because people won’t get in the gutter with him to fight. In fact, people like our Governor embrace that. They’ll condone and encourage it because they want what he was. Simply put, they want power.
Haley needs to understand that to beat a man that lives in the gutter, you have to go there. You have to crawl down and show him for exactly what he is: a sewer rat.
