MANKATO, Minn. – A celebration of life service was held in Mankato Friday honoring Army Sgt. Cade Wolfe who was among five service members killed during a military training excercise over the Mediterranean Sea in November.
Wolfe’s father, Scott, said Cade loved what he was doing and was proud to serve his country.
“[I] just want to let you know that I’m very proud of my son,” Scott Wolfe said. “I think that he served his country very well. He’s big-hearted and big-caring.”
Flags flew at half-staff over all state buildings Friday in Wolfe’s honor. He was 24 years old.
