Both drivers dead after head-on crash in southern Minnesota

NEW ULM, Minn. (KFGO) – The State Patrol says both drivers died when two vehicles crashed head-on in southern Minnesota early Saturday.   

Around 2:30 a.m., an SUV and a car collided on Highway 15 about 15 miles south of New Ulm.   

The drivers were 28-year-old Luis Perez and 33-year-old Aaron Gronau, both from New Ulm.   

There were no passengers in either vehicle.
