MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – Minot Police are searching for a man they believe was involved in a shooting last week that has left a man dead.
The shooting happened the night of Friday, Nov. 17 in northwest Minot. The victim, later identified as 29-year-old Ansu Kamara, was taken to the hospital with a serious gunshot injury and died one week later.
An arrest warrant was issued for 30-year-old Quantdre Mersier of Minot on Monday, Nov. 20.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident and the investigation is ongoing. They said if anyone sees Mercier, they should not approach him.
