ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Rochester man is facing a felony drug charge after police found over 20 grams of meth in the back of a police squad car.
Officers said Mario Ramirez, 51, was driving with a suspended license around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, when he was pulled over for signs of drug use. Ramirez sat in the back of a squad car while his vehicle was searched, in which police found 2.8 grams of meth.
Police allowed Ramirez to leave and be charged at a later time. After he was released, officers found a baggie containing 23.3 grams of suspected meth that video showed Ramirez had removed from his pants in the squad car.
