Investigation underway into overnight garage fires at Fargo apartment complex; Area of previous garage arsons

FARGO (KFGO) – Fire damaged several garages at an apartment complex at 901 42nd Street South in Fargo. Firefighters responded early Tuesday.

Heavy smoke was coming from the garages but fire crews were able to get a quick knockdown. It appears at least three units were damaged. Crews were on scene for about 3 hours and police units were on scene.

Fargo police say there has been a series of late-night garage arson fires along 42nd Street since late June. Police have not yet indicated if the latest fire is arson.
