Moorhead Police Department responded to reports of gunshots fired at the 1900 block of 20th Street South around 11:10 on Friday night and found a 56-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
The man reported being shot nearby by another man no longer on the scene. Officers found evidence that the shooting occurred nearby, and a suspect has been identified; however, no one has been formally charged at this time. Moorhead PD stated this was an isolated incident, and there was no known danger to the public.
No further information is available as the investigation is still active.
