My 8 year old daughter loves to cook and bake, especially desserts. She recently made S’mores bars for our family, and I was so impressed with them that I wanted to share.
Why would you make s’mores bars when you could just light up the fire pit and make real s’mores? I have no idea.
But just in case there might be rain, a potluck, a family get together, or some other dire situation where a fire may not be available, S’mores Bars are a viable alternative to the real thing.

I can vouch that these are slightly less messy than the real thing, but the taste is authentic. And they are an easy recipe for a budding baker. Our family of six finished off the whole pan in less than 24 hours!
