MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) — A man’s body was found on the bank of the Red River in north Moorhead Sunday morning.
Moorhead Police said they were notified around 11:45 a.m. that the body was found near the 1400 block by members of the Fargo Fire Department.
The body is being taken to the Ramsey County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy and identification.
Police said no further information will be released until the autopsy is done and relatives have been notified.
Last week, police searched the river for a man who fled after a disturbance at 9 Lower Terrace North in Fargo. There is no word on whether there is a connection to that incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
