BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – A Savage man has been charged with the murder of his uncle and attempted murder of his aunt last week at their home in Bloomington.
He’s 44-year-old Adam Roring. 74-year-old Mark Novak, the former mayor of Janesville in south-central Minnesota and his wife, 72-year-old Pamela Novak, were both beaten and stabbed.
According to the complaint, Roring told police when he was returning the Novaks’ house keys an “unknown intruder had nunchucks and a chain, and that he struggled with the intruder and got the weapons before that person escaped out the front door.
When police arrived, responding to a 911 call from Pamela Novak, they saw Roring climbing out a window. He had blood on his clothing, a metal bar and a blood-covered nunchuck when he was arrested.
