CROSSLAKE, Minn. – The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office in central Minnesota is investigating the apparent drowning of a 14-year-old boy on Star Lake near the city of Crosslake.
Witnesses saw the teenager fall off a paddle board. The boy was pulled from the lake by people at Pine Terrace Resort, but he died at the scene.
The victim and his family are from out of state and were staying at the resort.
