Crooked Pint Ale House in Grand Forks (FB)
GRAND FORKS (KFGO) – A Grand Forks restaurant and bar was damaged by fire Sunday night.
Fire Department Battalion Chief Chuck Marcott said fire crews responded to a fire alarm and visible smoke coming from the rear of the Crooked Pint Ale House on Columbia Road around 10:40 p.m.
Firefighters found smoke conditions throughout the main floor and a fire in a storage area between the top of the coolers and the ceiling. A sprinkler system appeared to have allowed the crews to extinguish the remaining fire quickly.
The building had fire and smoke damage throughout the business and will remain closed until repairs are made.
There were no injuries and the cause is under investigation.
