ST. PAUL, Minn. – A Maplewood, Minnesota man is accused in the killing and dismemberment of a missing woman from St. Paul.
The Ramsey County Attorney’s Office said Joseph Jorgenson, 40, is charged with the 2nd-degree murder of Manijeh “Mani” Starren, 34. Her remains were discovered Wednesday at a storage facility in Woodbury after St. Paul police said they found evidence during a search of Jorgenson’s residence.
Officers said Jorgenson started a fire when the SWAT team arrived, and he fought with two officers, causing minor injuries.
