It wouldn’t matter how much trouble I got into at school. I
knew
the butt kicking would be worse at home. My dad and mom knew enough to
trust who was in charge. And in this case, it was Superintendent Rau.
President Trump clearly never had parents like that. He
never had a parent that supported the people in his life that could make him a
good person. The type of person that respected others.
The latest example of that is when Trump overruled a naval
jury. The jury had convicted Navy SEAL Special Operations Chief Edward
Gallagher for posing with a dead prisoner’s body on the battlefield, directly
ignoring orders.
The jury demoted Gallagher and reduced his pay. They also
gave Gallagher four months of confinement. He didn’t have to serve that time
because he had already spent time in the brig. In other words, they found him
guilty
.
Then enter Donald Trump. Trump restored Gallagher’s full
rank and allowed him to retire with a full pension. Trump overruled those in
charge, making sure that every soldier knew all they had to do was go straight
to the top.
It’s my understanding that a soldier’s oath is sacred. It
defines his life and his service to America. It’s an oath Edward Gallagher
broke.
But then again, I never served in the military.
Neither did Donald Trump.
Good riding with you.
