EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. (KFGO/KNOX) – A fire early Tuesday morning destroyed a mobile home in East Grand Forks.
The East Grand Forks Fire Department responded to the call at 109 Venus Drive NE shortly after 2:00 a.m.
When crews arrived on scene they found 50 percent of the mobile home already engulfed in flames. It took crews about an hour to bring the blaze under control.
The home was a total loss. There were no injuries.
The preliminary cause of the fire is listed as improperly discarded smoking materials. The value of the home was put at $30,000 dollars.
