FARGO (KFGO) – Two people were taken to a hospital by Sanford Ambulance following an apartment fire in south Fargo Friday afternoon.
The blaze was reported at about 3:15. Battalion Chief Joe Mangin says the fire started in a second-floor apartment at 4355 10th Ave.
According to Battalion Chief Lee Soeth, the fire was contained to one apartment.
The Salvation Army was activated, primarily to provide bottled water and other assistance to fire crews.
Damage to the affected unit is estimated at $40,000. The cause is under investigation.
