(KFGO/KNFL) Abdallah Aris and Zach Keenan combined to shut out the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 8-0 on Wednesday night at Haymarket Park before a crowd of 2,071.
Nick Anderson doubled in a run in the first inning, and Luke Roskam singled in Anderson for a 2-0 Lincoln edge. Anderson also homered in the 6th inning off RedHawks starter Tyler Grauer (1-1)
Yanio Perez added some insurance runs with a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth off F-M reliever Brady Stover.
Aris pitched five shutout innings scattering five hits. He walked two and struck out four. Keenan allowed four hits in the final four innings to earn a save.
