MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Moorhead Police say 59-year-old Jacqueline Swanson of Moorhead is in the Clay County Jail awaiting possible felony charges for a hit and run in which a 12-year-old boy was injured Friday night.
The boy was struck while riding his bike on Highway 10 and 21st St. South.
Police reported that the boy suffered an ankle injury and was treated at a Fargo hospital. His mother says the injuries were more serious and he’s at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
Police say Swanson left the scene. They traced the pickup to Swanson. It had front-end damage consistent with the collision. The pickup has been impounded.
