FARGO (KFGO) – A home at 1541 14 1/2 Street South in Fargo was damaged by fire Tuesday. Firefighters responded to the second-alarm fire around 7:45 p.m.
One person was inside and smelled smoke, called 911, and evacuated the home before crews arrived on the scene.
On arrival, firefighters saw smoke coming from the roof of the home and encountered high heat temperatures while searching for the location of the fire.
Firefighters found the fire on the second floor in a bedroom and were able to extinguish it. There were no injuries but one person was displaced.
The initial damage estimate is undetermined at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
