(KFGO/KNFL) The Region 1 girls basketball pairings are set. Three play-in games will be played on Thursday evening at the higher seeds.
- #11 Richland (5-15) at #6 Tri-State (11-8)
- #10 Enderlin (7-13) at #7 Oak Grove (11-8)
- #9 Lisbon (5-14) at #8 Wyndmere-Lidgerwood-Hankinson (8-12)
Winners move into the quarterfinals on Monday at NDSU. The top five teams (Central Cass, Northern Cass, Kindred, Sargent County, and Maple River) receive byes into Monday’s quarterfinals.
Here is the Monday schedule. Games begin at 3:00 PM.
- W-L-H/Lisbon winner vs. #1 Central Cass (17-3)
- #5 Maple River (13-7) vs. #4 Sargent County (13-7)
- Enderlin/Oak Grove winner vs. #2 Northern Cass (16-4)
- Tri-State/Richland winner vs. #3 Kindred (13-7)
Semifinals are February 21, with the 3rd place and championship played on February 24 at NDSU.
