Ralph Apmann (BCA)
ST. PAUL, Minn. – A man charged with murder in southern Minnesota didn’t appear for a court appearance on Monday and he may be in the Twin Cities. It’s possible that he’s armed.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said 58-year-old Ralph Apmann posted bail after he was charged with 2nd-degree murder. He failed to show up for trial in Cottonwood County District Court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Apmann is 5’10”, 230 lbs., with hazel eyes. He is balding with gray hair. The BCA says Apmann may have a handgun and an AR-15 rifle.
Apmann is charged with killing a man in a fight outside the Phat Pheasant Bar in Windom in August 2021. The complaint alleges Apmann put the victim in a choke hold until he stopped struggling.
