Rep. Angie Craig (D-MN)
WASHINGTON – The man charged with assaulting Minnesota Democratic Rep. Angie Craig last week has a history of menacing and sometimes violent incidents on Capitol Hill where he is alleged to have attacked the congresswoman.
Craig said that the man came after her in the elevator of her Capitol Hill apartment complex. and she threw hot coffee on him. He was arrested last Thursday afternoon.
The man faces charges that he struck Craig in the face with a closed fist after she said she would not let him into her apartment.
