MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – A Minot man has been arrested after the early Friday morning deadly shooting of a man in the parking lot of a Minot bar.
Police say 34-year-old Justin McDermott will be charged with murder.
The victim was a 36-year-old man, who died of multiple gunshot wounds. Other people witnessed the shooting at the Lamplighter Lounge and one of them got the gun away from McDermott. That person and another bar customer restrained McDermott until police arrived. The shooting was reported at about 1:40 a.m.
McDermott is in the Ward County Jail.
