Gordon James Monson, son of Wendell l& Ethel Monson, was born February 19, 1942 in Fargo, ND. October 13th Gordon was given the diagnosis of multiple myeloma (cancer of the blood and bones) and given two months to live. On Friday, October 28th, he passed. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 26 in the chapel at First Lutheran Church, Fargo. Visitation 10:00, Service 11:00.
Gordon served in the Army at Ford Hood, Killeen, Vietnam conflict and remained in Texas for 52 years.
Godon was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lou Alice (Schneider) and sister Patricia Blegen, Gordon leaves behind sisters Diane Chambers (Dan, deceased), Chari Honrud-Dorval (Gary), Donna Royal (Mike), Becky Ohnstad (Vern), brother Ken (Julie). He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
