As we turn the clocks back an hour from DST to Standard Time. I’ve changed my clock and my mind. For now. I used to loathe the changing of time. I mean really HATED it. But…before we get there this year.
I think I’m liking an earlier sunrise even if it means a later sunset.
We have a bus stop outside our house and the kids are walking to school and the bus stop in the dark. Daylight would make the kids more visible to other drivers, the bus and give the kids a better view of the world around them.
Even if they aren’t paying attention.
Most kids are messing around as they walk. Many drivers are thinking about work, kids, life and lose a little of their focus on the morning commute. When it happens in the dark. It’s even worse.
So I’ve changed my mind about changing the time.
We’ll see what I think come Monday morning 🙂
