BISMARCK, N.D. – The Bismarck Police Dept. is investigating a weekend crash that left a motorcyclist dead and his wife injured.
56-year-old Scott Culver of Mandan was driving a motorcycle west on the Bismarck Expressway late Saturday night.
He was being followed by his wife, in her car. He was in the right lane, and an SUV driven by an 18-year Mandan woman was in the left lane. The SUV veered into the right lane, which caused Culver to veer right, lose control of his motorcycle, and strike a light pole.
Culver’s wife then rear-ended the SUV with her car. Christa Culver was transported to a hospital. Scott Culver died at a hospital.
No charges have been filed while the investigation continues.
