FARGO (KFGO) – A massive indoor waterpark is slated to make a splash in West Fargo in 2024. EPIC Companies has released its early plans for the 50,000 square-foot, family-friendly facility which will also include a seven-story, 125 room hotel and parking ramp. Eric Goolst, the park director, says a number of the features of the park won’t be found anywhere else.
“We’re going to have a lazy river that’s going to have a wave component to it, a drop-slide which will drop you eight feet into the pool, a play station with a bucket drop, and a zero-depth-entry splash pad for the kids. We’re also going to have Ninja-Cross which is a take-off of the Ninja Warrior – this will be the first of its kind in any waterpark,” Goolst said.
He says part of EPIC’s mission is to work with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations to make sure kids of all income levels can use the park, which will be located in Anderson Park on 45th St, south of I-94, not far from the Red River Zoo.
