BRAINERD, Minn. – Authorities in Crow Wing County are investigating a fiery weekend crash that left a Brainerd teen dead.
Sheriff’s deputies say a vehicle driven by Alexis Laughton, 18, struck a tree head-on Saturday and started on fire. Laughton died at the scene in Nokay Lake Township.
She was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
