FARGO (KFGO) – A West Fargo Police sergeant who was arrested for drunken driving last month has been demoted.
Ryan Denis has lost his supervisory position and will be reassigned to patrol following a 15-day unpaid suspension. Denis pleaded guilty to actual physical control.
Police Chief Heath Jahnke says while everyone can make mistakes, DUI will not be tolerated within the department. He says the department will continue to be accountable and transparent.
