WEST FARGO – A fire at a storage complex sent several people to the hospital and caused significant damage to multiple units.
The West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to West Fargo Storage Units around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, crews found visible flames and began “fighting a defensive fire” to gain control of the scene.
After further investigation, one of the units appeared to be illegally inhabited although no one was present.
The department was notified that individuals were treated for burn injuries at a hospital. The report did not say which one.
The cause of the fire is under investigation with the cost of damages to be determined.
